Napalm Records is an Austrian independent record label focused on heavy metal, hard rock and folk/folk rock/folk metal. Originally, Napalm focused on black metal bands, such as Abigor and Summoning , and folk metal bands, such as Falkenbach and Vintersorg .
The band was formed in 2017 by the American singer Amanda Somerville (Avantasia, Alice Cooper, Epica, HDK, Kiske/Somerville, Aina, Trillium), the Brazilian singer Marina La Torraca (Phantom Elite), the French singer Clémentine Delauney (Visions of Atlantis, ex-Serenity) and the German-American singer Anna Brunner (League of Distortion). Despite the announcement, the band had been formed a year earlier (June 2019). [4] [5] On June 16, Napalm Records announced that they would release the band's debut album. [6] [7] The band's first single and music video released was for the song From The Ashes, [8] about the well-known story of the phoenix. [9] [10]
Battlelore's first demo Warrior's Tale was released in late 1999, the same year of the founding of the group, but Battlelore attracted the attention of the Austrian record label Napalm Records only after the publication of the second demo Dark Fantasy in late 2000, which featured for the first time long standing members Kaisa Jouhki as female singer, Henri Vahvanen on drums and Maria Honkanen ...
The band released two singles, "Gloryhammer" on 12 April 2019 and "The Siege of Dunkeld (In Hoots We Trust)" on 10 May 2019, through the Napalm YouTube. [18] [19] Following the album's release was the band's first North American tour as headliners in June with Æther Realm as support. [20]
Suldusk is an Australian neofolk and black metal band from Melbourne. The band was formed in 2016 by Emily Highfield as a one-woman project, later growing to five members. They are currently signed to Napalm Records. Since its formation, the band has released two studio albums and one EP.
