Jesse Pinkman, Mike Ehrmantraut and Gus Fring travel to Mexico to teach the Cartel how to cook meth with a purity level in the 90th percentile. Although the cartel's chief chemist is initially skeptical because Jesse lacks scientific knowledge, the cartel is impressed when Jesse cooks a batch with 96% purity.
Walt meets Jesse in the desert and tells him that Saul can contact someone who specializes in creating new identities. [b] He advises Jesse to start over and have a better life. Jesse reacts angrily, and asks Walt to stop manipulating him, knowing Walt has killed Mike Ehrmantraut. In response, Walt simply embraces Jesse, who cries in his arms.
The following morning, Jesse panics when he realizes that he only has $1,400 left to buy an RV, but Combo bails him out by selling him his mother's RV for the remainder of the money. Back in the present, Jesse is furious that Walt received the other half of his payment for the meth and calls him to demand it.
Jesse agrees, but just as he is about to be picked up by Saul's "disappearer", he realizes that Saul's bodyguard Huell Babineaux (Lavell Crawford) took his ricin cigarette, meaning that Walt was the one who orchestrated Brock's poisoning. Jesse goes back to Saul's office and beats him up until he admits that Walt told him to steal the ricin.
Jesse assumes he was brought along to watch Mike's back, but Mike angrily denies this after being asked repeatedly. He insists he doesn't know why he was asked to take Jesse to the mission. While waiting in the car alone at the last dead drop spot, Jesse notices two robbers approaching, one armed with a shotgun.
An enraged Jesse suddenly shows up, and Walt, horrified, realizes that he has led Hank right to them. The two lock themselves within the RV while Hank tries to force the door open. Old Joe steps in and tells Hank that an RV is a domicile, and therefore, he cannot legally search it without a warrant.
Todd glibly dismisses the tragedy, leading an incensed Jesse Pinkman to punch him. After a heated debate, Walt, Jesse, and Mike agree to spare Todd's life and keep him on the payroll with Vamonos Pest. The DEA begins to surveil Mike, which leads him to leave Walt's meth operation, as does Jesse, who is distraught about Drew's death.
Walt ignores Jesse's pleas and reveals that he put a GPS tracker on Jesse's car, so he knew that Jesse was at Gus's house. Walt confronts Jesse for failing to kill Gus, but Jesse throws the GPS tracker at Walter's head. Walt and Jesse engage in a brutal fight and wreck the living room before Jesse gains the upper hand.
