On Computer Start Menu -> Settings -> Devices -> Connected Devices - Add a Device. HOLD the Power Button on the device for 8+ seconds until the BLUE light starts to flash. Then set Bios to defaults & Pwr to balanced. At the end of the day shutdown, do not leave in sleep. As a bluetooth device the Bose dosnt require drivers but it may have its own settings software - I didnt check - The sound icon to the rt of the task bar, check the Input/output options. If you right-click the speaker icon and select Open sound settings do you see Speakers as an available Output device? There have also been some issues with Creative sound adapters, if that is what you have. You could try finding your sound card in Device Manager and switching to the High Definition Audio Controller driver instead.

Thank you to take some of your precious time to read my post and help me solve the following problem with bluetooth connection. Following latest windows update version: 10.0.17134 build 17134 With USB plugged in or with Bluetooth connection the speaker device Bose Soundlink mini (model 416912) does not connect with my Asus T200TA laptop.
(My laptop recognized the Bose SL II, but remained disconnected until I downloaded the drivers--took about 3 minutes). The folks at Bose were very friendly and helpful and said the reason Bose SLII won't connect to a laptop is if the drivers are old. Anyway, the HP link to the Broadcom Bluetooth drivers
