Come in to 4920 OH-37, Delaware, OH 43015 anytime during our open hours (Mon-Sat 11am-5pm) to see our cats in the shelter. Our cats live in several different communal rooms throughout the shelter. Some cats may be housed in our clinic, in the lobby, or in foster homes.

The Humane Society of Delaware County (HSDC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving and protecting the animals of Delaware County. HSDC does not receive any of your tax dollars, we rely heavily on individual donations, grants, corporate partnerships and fundraisers.
The building complex will be anchored by the 22,000 sq. ft. facility housing the Humane Society of Delaware County. Several private businesses will also be incorporated to provide a variety of services related to animal care, needs, and wellness.

Completion of our People, Animals & Welfare for Success (PAWS) volunteer program is required to become a regular volunteer with the Humane Society of Delaware County (HSDC).

One out of three animals goes missing in their lifetime and the possibility of reuniting them with their owner once at the shelter drops to 5-18%.
