Ponguru Narayana (born 15 June 1957) is an Indian educationist turned politician in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. [2] He was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council in 2014 and served as the Minister for Municipal administration and Urban development & Urban Housing. [ 3 ]
The Minister is one of the senior-most members of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet. From June 2014 to May 2019, following the bifurcation of United Andhra Pradesh into the present-day residual Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Minister of Municipal Administration & Urban Development was Ponguru Narayana of the Telugu Desam Party.
