She became, together with Jan Keizer the face of BZN from 1976 until 1984. The first single the band released with the two lead-singers was Mon Amour, which was an immediate success. A long string of top-10 hits followed. In 1984 Schilder decided to leave BZN, citing that she needed more time to spend with her family.
