Overall Rating: 4.5 out of 5: After 100,000 miles, the Model Y has proven itself as a reliable workhorse. Despite some concerns about tire costs and vulnerabilities, the overall satisfaction with performance, savings, and rider experience remains high. To future Tesla owners, buckle up for a ride that's not just eco-friendly but also ...
To my dismay, the manual states: Caution: Do not add formulated washer. fluids that contain water repellent or bug. wash. These fluids can cause streaking, smearing, and squeaking or other noises. I've read some of the older threads here on this topic but that didn't help much either.

C) Use the pressure washer with a wide 40 degree spray to rinse off the vehicle. (Always wash the vehicle in the shade or on a cloudy day, never in full sun or you will have to deal with water spots.) I use several large microfiber towels (I use Chemical Guys) to dry off my Model Y after washing.
The actual tire pressure varies with temperature from 41 to 47 PSI. I am lazy, set the tire pressure 2X per year (fall and spring/summer.) 51 is the maximum cold tire pressure; you could store the Tesla Model Y for a prolonged period with tire pressure set to 51 PSI to account for slow loss of pressure and help prevent flat spots. Oct 20, 2023. #1. First 500 Miles – 245wh/mi. + 825 mile Road Trip – 288wh/mi. Vehicle Lifetime - 258wh/mi (stock tires 34K miles) TLDR: Good tires, more comfort, less performance. Efficiency. This is a hard category to compare, especially with so few miles.
I am interested in an air management system that does most of the adjustment automatically - height management based. I've seen few options available: 1. Airlift: Tesla Model 3 (AWD) 17-22 & Model Y 20-22. 2. UAS (Universal Air Suspension): Tesla Model 3 RWD 2018+ Solution Series 2 Sleeve 2 AH2 - UniversalAir.com.
Mike_TV said: Still don't understand why the Tesla online shop doesn't have wiper blades available for the MY. Yeah, it's odd that they sell them for the S, 3 and X but not the Y. I'm guessing it's a size issue - the Y uses 20 and 26" blades. Every other Tesla uses 18 and 28" blades so if they had them for the S they automatically had them for ...
