some how yahoo has hijacked my google chrome home page. I can't seem to get rid of it. I used windows defender to scan it showed nothing, I've uninstalled google chrome and reinstalled still there I used malware bytes and cleaned it up nut it's still happening. no idea how too get rid of it. From here, you can remove Yahoo or select another search engine as the default by clicking on the three dots menu next to it. Here a screenshot below. I hope this helps.
Although searches can go through Bing if I use the windows key and search that way. It's not even a direct redirect when using Edge, it goes through two different sites before arriving at Yahoo. This is what I mean, DuckDuckGo leads just to DuckDuckGo, but using Bing will lead to redirects and ends up at Yahoo, google does the same.
When i try to search something on microsoft bing instead of getting a result on a bing tab i get a yahoo tab how do i get rid of it? This sounds like your default service engine is Yahoo, or the new tab opens Yahoo as the search function. - are you searching www.bing.com or via a new tab page?
