Prior to 1940 the term "jeep" had been used as U.S. Army slang for new recruits or vehicles, [11] [12] but the World War II "jeep" that went into production in 1941 specifically tied the name to this light military 4×4, arguably making them the oldest four-wheel drive mass-production vehicles now known as SUVs. Between 2013 and 2014, Medford High School underwent additional renovation to improve its science labs and reopen its pool. In 1977 and 1992 two racial brawls occurred at Medford High School, injuring several students and bringing police to the school to restore order. [9] In 2013, the Medford High School Alumni Association (MHSAA) was founded.
It is located at 160 High Street, Medford, Massachusetts and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The church was constructed 1867-1869. It is one of Richardson's earliest works and the second of his churches (now the earliest remaining since his Unity Church, Springfield, has been demolished).
