Are you a YouTube TV subscriber? On Thursday, YouTube announced that it's upping the price of its streaming service's base plan by $10 — citing “the rising cost of content" and other investments.
YouTube TV has boosted its price repeatedly since launching in 2017, when a subscription ran $35 a month. By 2019, the monthly cost was $50. YouTube last increased the charge in March 2023 to $72.99.
The service's benefits continued to be available as part of the existing YouTube Premium service and to Google Play Music All Access subscribers.
