The carrier single is the song "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" composed by Ogie Alcasid which was requested by Regine Velasquez to be the main love theme of the film. [4] The song was created for only a day by Alcasid [5] during his then wife Michelle Van Eimeren's second child pregnancy. [6]
In February 2004, Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid co-headlined a concert, The Songbird & The Songwriter, at the Araneta Coliseum, [75] and they embarked on a North American tour that April. [76] At the 17th Aliw Awards, she won Best Female Performance in a Concert and was nominated for Entertainer of the Year for the collaboration. [77]
