The Wilmslow Road bus corridor is a 5.5 miles (8.9 km)-long section of road in Manchester that is served by a large number of bus services. The corridor runs from Parrs Wood to Manchester city centre along Wilmslow and Oxford Roads, serving Didsbury, Withington, Fallowfield and Rusholme.

[5] The modular unit was built in the Infirmary's car park. [6] In 2021, a new £7.6 million community assessment unit, with 21 beds, was opened in the Infirmary. [7]
Leigh Grammar School existed in 1655 but its foundation is unclear. The building was next to the churchyard, [97] but the school moved to Manchester Road in 1931. Leigh Girls' Grammar School was established in 1921, [97] but both schools were abolished by the then Secretary of State for Education, Shirley Williams, in the 1976
