Larry Labruce Koon (February 18, 1944 – October 15, 2021) [2] was an American politician in the state of South Carolina.He served in the South Carolina House of Representatives as a member of the Republican Party from 1975 to 2004, representing Lexington County, South Carolina.
The New York Times Company acquired The Dispatch in 1973, [9] and the Halifax Media Group acquired it on January 6, 2012. [3] In 2015, Halifax was acquired by New Media Investment Group. [10] In November of 2022 Paxton Media Group acquired The Dispatch and five other North Carolina newspapers from Gannett Co., Inc. [11]
