The Nauvoo House in Nauvoo, Illinois, was to be a boarding house that Joseph Smith, the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, and his followers began constructing in the 1840s. The boarding house was never completed, but the structure was later converted into a residential home and renamed the Riverside Mansion .
The Mansion House is part of the Nauvoo Historic District, a National Historic Landmark. On March 5, 2024 it was announced that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints purchased the Mansion House as well other historic properties and artifacts from Community of Christ.
The Reimbold House is one of two German immigrant homes, and the only one with an intact wine cellar, remaining in Nauvoo's Mormon Flat district, as the rest were destroyed during a period of Mormon restoration in the twentieth century.
