Aguas Buenas, (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈaɣwas ˈβwenas], locally [awaʔ ˈβwenaʔ]), popularly known as "La Ciudad de las Aguas Claras" or "The City of Clear Waters", is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the Central Mountain Range, north of Cidra, south of Bayamón, Guaynabo and San Juan; east of Comerio; and north-west of Caguas.
Puerto Rico Highway 173 (PR-173) is a road that travels from Aibonito, Puerto Rico to Guaynabo, passing through Cidra and Aguas Buenas. [4] This highway begins at PR-14 junction in Plata and ends at its intersection with PR-1 and PR-8834 in Río .
The proposed route will run north of the urban center of Aguas Buenas, facilitating traffic in the area. [1] PR-208 will extend from PR-156 on the Sumidero–Mula line to PR-156 in Bairoa barrio. On its way, it will meet PR-174 on the Mula–Sonadora line and PR-173 in Bairoa barrio. [2]
