The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium is an indoor sports arena, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.The facility seats 5,000 people. Originally an outdoor stadium, it was established in 1957 and the foundation stone was laid by the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Yashwantrao Chavan; and the facility is administered by National Sports Club of India.
The central playing arena measures 60 metres by 40 metres in size and consists of a basketball court and six badminton courts. The indoor stadium can also host other sporting events such as kabaddi, taekwondo, table tennis, boxing, judo, wrestling and weight lifting.
