Al-Kauthar Islamic University (Urdu: جامعۃ الکوثر) is a Shia public, research university in Islamabad Capital Territory of Pakistan.It is located in Sector H-8/2 and initially founded as the "Islamic University" in 2002.
H-8 (Urdu: حلقہ ایچ ۸) is a sector of Islamabad. [1] The sector is bounded by Srinagar Highway and G-8 to the north, Islamabad Expressway and Shakarparian to the east, I-8 to the south, and Ninth Avenue and H-9 to the west. Similar to other H-sectors, H-8 is provided for education and health facilities. [2]
