[1] It was the eleventh round of the 2021 IndyCar Series and the ninth edition of the Music City Grand Prix (following changes made in 2024), the first on the street circuit.
The 206-lap race is Sept. 15 starting at 2:25 p.m. Marcus Ericsson won the inaugural Music City Grand Prix in 2021. Scott Dixon won in 2022 and Kyle Kirkwood in 2023.
