Avenue is an underground light rail transit (LRT) station under construction on Line 5 Eglinton, a new line that is part of the Toronto subway system. The station is located in North Toronto on Eglinton Avenue between Avenue Road and Highbourne Road. It is the deepest underground station on the line. [2]
The station will have two entrances. The main entrance will be at the northeast corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Bathurst Street and will be fully accessible. The secondary entrance will be on the north side of Eglinton about 50 m (160 ft) west of Bathurst Street, opposite Peveril Hill, and will include retail spaces at street level.
