The Indiana Library Federation (ILF) is a professional organization for Indiana's librarians, library workers, and trustees. It is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana . The ILF was created as a result of the Indiana Library Association (501(c)(6) being merged into the Indiana Library Trustee Association (501(c)(3) in 1990. [ 1 ]
The present 132,000 sq ft (12,300 m 2), two-story Main Library was constructed between 1997 and 1999.With the completion of a large-scale expansion and renovation project in 2022, the Main Library includes a Digital Media Lab, public meeting and study rooms, dedicated spaces for Youth Services and Teen Services, and an onsite coffee shop.
