Shenzhen railway station (Chinese: 深圳站; pinyin: Shēnzhèn zhàn, formerly Shum Chun station), also unofficially known as Luohu railway station (Chinese: 罗湖站; pinyin: Luóhú zhàn), is located across from Luohu Commercial City in Nanhu Subdistrict, Luohu District of Shenzhen, Guangdong.
Opened on 28 December 2004, Luohu station offers interchange to the Guangzhou–Shenzhen railway at Shenzhen railway station, and to the Hong Kong MTR at Lo Wu station. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] Two tracks run through the station, with platforms on either side; passengers board from the central island platform and alight on the side platforms.
The size of Luohu district is about 78.9 km 2 (30 sq mi) and contains 10 subdistricts. Luohu is located in the southern part of Shenzhen, with Futian district on its west, Yantian district on its east, and Longgang district on its north.
