Raaga (formerly THR Raaga, stylised as raaga) [1] is a Malaysian Tamil-language radio station operated by Astro Radio. In 2015, as according to Nielsen RAM Survey Wave #1, THR Raaga maintained its position as Malaysia's leading Tamil-language station with over two million listeners. [ 2 ]
Time Highway Radio was taken over by Astro Radio in 2005. It became a Tamil-language station known as "THR Raaga" on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. On the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia it became known as "THR Gegar", broadcasting in Malay. Both stations later dropped the "THR" brand and simply became "Raaga" and "Gegar" respectively.

From July 2018, THR Gegar broadcasts from 02:00 to 06:00 on Raaga's FM frequencies was discontinued, and the latter became 24 hours. Previously, 24 hour broadcasts of Raaga were only available through online and Astro channel 859. THR Gegar's frequencies are only broadcast in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and not in other states.
