The McCoy Center [2] is an office building located in Columbus, Ohio.The building was acquired by JPMorgan Chase & Co. with its 2004 merger with Bank One Corporation.Formally known as the Corporate Center Columbus (or more often and colloquially "Polaris"), the building was renamed after the merger to honor the McCoy family, who led the Columbus-based Bank One for three generations.
In 1985, the building was renovated and renamed as Huntington Plaza Building, due to the bank's trust department no longer being housed in the building. The renovations included sandblasting the exterior and creating park space around the building. [7] Before then, the space beside the building was used for drive-through banking services. [8]

Although Northland would remain open, it had been reduced to the status of a bazaar-type mall with only a small handful of specialty shops in operation. Finally, on October 31, 2002, after 38 years of service in Columbus, Northland Mall closed permanently. The mall concourse and the vacant Sears anchor were demolished in February 2004.
