The Suamico River is a river in north east Wisconsin that flows through the village of Suamico and into Green Bay in Lake Michigan. [1] The source is near the community of Anston, in the town of Pittsfield. The river has been dredged by the United States Army Corps of Engineers to aid in recreational activity. [2]
Big Suamico was the unofficial name for the river, township, and village called Suamico. It was used to distinguish themselves from the Little Suamico River and Township immediately north in Oconto County. The Suamico and Fort Howard Road was the first declared county road in Brown County laid out between Big Suamico and Fort Howard in 1849–1850.
Harbor Lights Lake is a reservoir in Suamico, Wisconsin, Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. Harbor Lights Lake is small and right along the Green Bay. Over 300 people live on the lake. [1] The lake is maintained by the Harbor Lights Lake Association, consisting of about 135 properties.

[1] [2] It is located within the Town of Little Suamico. As of the 2010 census, its population was 259. [3] It is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Little Suamico Town Hall is located in Sobieski, just east of the Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad. Sobieski is located along County Trunk Highway S and Cross Road.
