Sherman Park is a neighborhood, located on the northwest side of Milwaukee. It contains the neighborhoods of Grasslyn Manor, [ 1 ] Sunset Heights, Roosevelt Grove, St. Joseph's and Uptown neighborhood.
Sherman Park on W Burleigh Street and N Sherman Boulevard. Sherman Park is located on the northwest side of Milwaukee. It is bordered by Capitol Drive to the north, 35th Street to the east, North Avenue to the south and 60th Street to the west. The Sherman Park area was once home to some of Milwaukee's first business owners.
Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district is contained within central Milwaukee County, including parts of near-west Milwaukee and southeast Wauwatosa. It contains the Milwaukee neighborhoods Washington Heights and Sherman Park and includes landmarks such as the Miller Brewing Company and Washington Park. [2]
In that year the Milwaukee Park Commission bought the land that would become Washington Park. In 1891 it bought the 24 acres that would become Sherman Park. In 1899 the city annexed both parcels. By 1901 the name "Sherman Boulevard" was in use and in years that followed, residential subdivisions were laid out in the area.

This park is operated by Milwaukee County Park in the City of Cudahy. It was originally donated to the city by Patrick Cudahy in 1914. It lies on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.
