The Somerset Dam is a mass concrete gravity dam with a gated spillway across the Stanley River in Queensland, Australia. It is within the locality of Somerset Dam in the Somerset Region in South East Queensland. The main purpose of the dam is the supply of potable water for the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Logan City regions.
Banner Lakes at Summerset State Park is a 222-acre (90 ha) state park in Warren County, Iowa, United States, near the city of Indianola.Opened in 2004, the park is located on the site of a 1930s coal mine; its two namesake lakes were formed from the remnants of the mine.

Fishing is a popular activity at Brushy Creek. The creek and Des Moines River provide a challenge to the angler with smallmouth bass and panfish as favorite catches. Several boat ramps and fishing jetties are located around the 690-acre (2.8 km 2) lake. A fishing pier is located on the west side of the lake, north of the beach area.

They were able to buy options for 254 acres (103 ha) in 1933. The City of Hampton and several civic organizations bought the property the following year and presented it to the State of Iowa. The city requested that the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) develop a 258.68-acre (104.68 ha) park. The CCC worked from 1934 to 1938 developing the park.
The prime attraction of the 1,640-acre (660 ha) park is Lake Geode, a 187-acre (76 ha) lake built in 1950. Over the years, the lake has become well known for excellent fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, channel catfish, bullhead, red-eared sunfish. Geode State Park joined the Iowa park system in 1937.
