The Moderne (/ m oʊ ˈ d ɛər n / moh-DAIRN) is a 30-story [4] apartment building in Milwaukee. It stands at 348 feet (106 meters) tall, making it the tallest building in the city west of the Milwaukee River. [4] The tower's ground floor is occupied by Carson's Ribs, with the remaining floors used for apartments, condominiums, and parking. [2]

The city had been considering parking shortages for years; in 1947, Gimbels addressed their part of the problem on their own. The Club Moderne is a bar in Anaconda, Montana, United States, in the Streamline Moderne style. It was designed by architect Fred F. Willson and built by Frank Wullus in 1937 for John Francisco. The facade was clad in Carrara glass .
