Michele Mary Smith (born June 21, 1967) is an American, former collegiate All-American, two-time medal-winning Olympian, international professional left-handed hitting fastpitch softball pitcher and current sports commentator, originally from Califon, New Jersey.
Collins has broadcast every game of the World Cup of Softball on ESPN since its inception in 2005, with partner Michele Smith. In August 2010, the Big Ten Network announced that Collins would handle play-by-play duties in college football and basketball. [6] He also does play-by-play announcing for Fox College Hoops. [7]
