The school merged with Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. The Warren County (Ohio) Historical Society in Lebanon, Ohio, now holds Lebanon University's records. In 1933 Alfred Holbrook College opened on the same campus. AHC moved to Manchester, Ohio where it closed in 1941. The original campus was demolished in 1977. [1]

The first settlement at West Lebanon was made in 1808. [2] West Lebanon was platted in 1833, and named after West Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, the native home of a first settler. [3] A post office called West Lebanon was established in 1846, and remained in operation until 1907. [4]
Lebanon High School is a public high school in Lebanon, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Lebanon City School District. Their mascot is the Warrior and the school logo is the letter "L" with a spear. The primary school colors are maroon and white, although throughout its history secondary colors have included black and maize.
