"Calculon 2.0" is the twentieth episode in the seventh season of the American animated television series Futurama, and the 134th episode of the series overall. It originally aired on Comedy Central on July 24, 2013.
Calculon decides the only way to win the award is to actually drink the food coloring and die. After he dies, Cobb wins the award instead of him, making his death pointless. In "Calculon 2.0", Bender and Fry decide to revive Calculon after deciding that they do not care for his replacement on All My Circuits, Vaxtron. They journey to Robot Hell ...
Futurama is an American animated science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company and later revived by Comedy Central, and then Hulu. The series follows Philip J. Fry , who is cryogenically preserved for 1,000 years and revived on December 31, 2999.
To weaken his ego, the crew enlists Calculon to challenge Cobb to an acting competition. They suggest he perform the death scene in Romeo and Juliet, and Calculon recognizes that the only way to ensure his full believability is to take food coloring, which is fatal to robots, and die. Though Calculon gives a moving performance and dies ...

Calculon initially refuses on account of disliking the font, but after learning Harold Zoid wrote the script, and getting a guarantee from Bender that he will win an Oscar, he accepts. The film, The Magnificent Three , is a story about a son (the Vice-President of Earth) not wanting to follow in his father's (the President of Earth) footsteps.
Easily swayed, Calculon gives him the part. On the air, whilst rebelling against a coma scene scripted to accommodate his poor acting, Bender sings, dances, drinks, smokes, and steals. His behavior boosts the show's ratings; kids, such as Dwight, Cubert, The Cookieville Orphans and Tinny Tim, begin to emulate his on-screen antics.
The seventh season of Futurama consisted of 26 episodes split equally across two broadcast seasons: 7-A and 7-B. It premiered on Comedy Central on June 20, 2012. A box set containing the 13 episodes of Season 7-A was released as Futurama: Volume 7 and another box set containing the 13 episodes of Season 7-B was released as Futurama: Volume 8.
