The Chalmer DaVee Library was dedicated to Dr. Chalmer DaVee in 1997. A member of the Board of Regents in 1945, DaVee insisted that the school offer a liberal arts program, and was a firm supporter of River Falls being a part of the building program, which led to the building of Hathorn Hall and the library, as well as an Industrial Arts building.
