38 Brown St. Maddock Alumni Center is located in the former home of Chancellor William Goddard (class of 1846). Goddard's daughter deeded the house to the University in 1940, and in 1974, the center was named in honor of Paul L. Maddock (class of 1933), the principal donor in its restoration.
