My old home computer worked fine with remote desktop both in and out of my local network. I bought a new home computer with 11 pro, set up the remote desktop the same as in past and exactly as instructed and it works in my network, but does not work outside my network. I don't understand why I have a "PIN" for Windows 10. Anyway, I'm setting up Remote Login. It'll be less confusing if I knew WHAT THE PASSWORD is! Do I use the PIN or some other password? I have Windows 8.1 Home edition. I would like to remote access to my Windows 7 Pro network at my work site. I set up the access from work, but I can't seem to get the Remote Desktop setup on my home PC. The only one that comes up is Remote Desktop "Connection", which doesn't give me the setup options. I desperately need to remote into my work site.
