Gazi University (Turkish: Gazi Üniversitesi) is a public research university located primarily in Ankara, Turkey. It was founded in 1926 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk originally as the Gazi Education Institute ( Turkish : Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü ), has evolved into a comprehensive institution.
