Mist is an unincorporated community in Columbia County, Oregon, United States. Formerly called Riverside, the place was renamed in 1888 for the atmospheric conditions of the Nehalem Valley. [1] The first land claims in the area had been made circa 1870. [2] The original Riverside post office was closed in 1975. [1]
As of 2014, BARK was still battling with the state and Nestlé to prevent a bottling plant at the Cascade Locks that Nestlé proposes building. [9] BARK's position is that the $50-million, 250,000-square-foot water bottling plant would take public water and give it to a private corporation.

Portland (/ ˈ p ɔːr t l ə n d / PORT-lənd) is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Oregon, located in the Pacific Northwest region. Situated close to northwest Oregon at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers, it is the county seat of Multnomah County, Oregon's most populous county.

Mount Scott is a volcanic cinder cone with its summit in Clackamas County, Oregon.The summit rises to an elevation of 1,091 feet (333 m). [1] It is part of the Boring Lava Field, [3] a zone of ancient volcanic activity in the area around Portland, and was named for Harvey W. Scott, a 19th and 20th century editor of The Oregonian newspaper.
