County Road 610 (CR 610), locally known as University Parkway, is a seven-mile-long (11 km) county route in Sarasota County and Manatee County, Florida.It is a major commuter route from U.S. Highway 41 (US 41) to Interstate 75 (I-75) and it is the primary access road for Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport.

U.S. Route 301 (US 301) in Florida runs from the Sarasota-Bradenton-Venice, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area northeast to the Greater Jacksonville Metropolitan Area.The road is a spur of U.S. Route 1, which it intersects in Callahan.
The route came into existence in the 1920s when the route's first bridge to Manasota Key was built. The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers convinced Sarasota County to build the first bridge since they were developing the north end of Manasota Key. [35] The route was designated SR 774 after the 1945 Florida state road renumbering. [7]
Continuing east of I-75, SR 64 reduces to four lanes at Lakewood Ranch Road. At Lorraine Road, it becomes a two-lane road as it becomes a more rural route. It passes Lake Manatee State Park and crosses Lake Manatee near Bethany. It then passes to the north of Wingate Creek State Park and through Myakka Head before entering Hardee County. [2]
The part of former SR 780 east of I-75 became CR 780 in the early 1980s, after Florida Department of Transportation designated it a secondary State Road (and applied an "S-" prefix to the State Road 780 designation a decade earlier). This was part of a large set of redesignations that transformed the map of the State of Florida.
