The West Coast Conference (WCC) — known as the California Basketball Association from 1952 to 1956 and then as the West Coast Athletic Conference until 1989 — is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I consisting of nine member schools across the states of California, Oregon, and Washington.

The Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) is a collegiate athletic conference made up primarily of the branch campuses of the Universities of Wisconsin as well as one private college. The conference currently sponsors men's basketball and women's volleyball and formerly sponsored in co-ed soccer, women's basketball, men's tennis, and men's golf.
The 2020 West Coast Conference women's basketball tournament was played between March 5–10, 2020, at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Portland was the winner of the WCC Women's Tournament and would have automatically advanced to the 2020 NCAA Tournament, but that tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The winner receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. The championship is broadcast nationally on ESPNU . Games were at campus sites from 1992 to 1994, then were played at the same location as the men's tournament, beginning in 1995.
The 2019 University Credit Union West Coast Conference women's basketball tournament was a postseason women's basketball tournament held for the West Coast Conference for the 2018–19 season. All tournament games were played at the Orleans Arena in the Las Vegas area community of Paradise, Nevada from March 7–12, 2019.
