For my car, I used Dynacorn for the quarters and rear wheel wells, AMD for the door skin and lower windshield channel, and the OPG brand for the rear filler panel between the decklid and rear glass. It wasn't our intention to mix and match, but the parts we used ended up having the most crisp lines ...

I found that the AMD parts fit extremely well for aftermarket parts. All of the repro parts are going to need to be massaged a bit but AMD is far better than the others I have seen/used.
Goodmark, AMD, Dynacorn, Golden Legion, whatever aftermarket sheet metal are all coming from Taiwan anyway. For those who purchase NOS panels only, I hear that those panels are "left overs" from GM did not use because they did not align correctly. Bodywork takes time, massaging and fabricating.

There are several different manufacturers over there who specialize in classic reproduction panels and whoever has the newest stamping tools is usually the best. AMD "premium" quarter panels are made using the newest stamping ...
The guy who started AMD is also the same guy that originally started Goodmark so many of the parts come from the same suppliers. They are DOT approved so there is that. Remember, when you cut off the old sheet metal it seems thicker than it really is due to paint and other coatings.
OPGI retails Dynacorn (which are supposedly also Golden Legion stampings). AMD retails X-Parts and Tri-Plus (which are "designed" on CAD/CAM by Key Parts). The smaller sheetmetal that Sherman Parts retails are stamped in the USA. I bought X-Parts fenders for my '69 and my bodyman thought they were excellent "as good as 'factory.'".

I would really like to get some AMD panels from summit or whoever down in the states, but after the exchange rate, duty and shipping the costs are outrageous.
The dynacorns fit great, the drains were punched out and they where edp coated. The only draw back was the gauge thickness but they were still thicker then the metal is was welding to. 396 ci (60 over) Oval port heads (215) Ported. There are many rumors about Goodmark getting the better quality pieces however in my experience with 69 Chevelles, Goodmark and DII quarters are identical and with Goodmark your simply paying for their name and their advertising. In the past, I have always found NOS sheet metal. I installed aftermarket quarters, on my current project, from NPD. They require some finesse to get the door gap at the bottoms, but the fit and profiles was nice. Use your existing trunk lid and doors to fit the quarters then replace the trunk, hood, and door skins.
