Run the Steam VR Performance test before downloading any Steam VR titles. Even games that seem like they shouldn't be that intensive may struggle because VR isn't necessarily easy to run. There is also a free streaming app called ALVR which can be downloaded via sidequest. Trying to run PCVR with a GTX 570 loool.
A place to discuss the Meta/Oculus Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro Members Online You can finally throw shit at your friends in VR - Monkey Doo is on the Official Meta Store!
In the PC Oculus App, it says "No headset audio" when I go to the Devices tab. I've checked/tried: - Seeing if the Oculus Headset is disabled in the windows sound control panel (it's not even there) - Going to device manager and clicking "scan for hardware changes" (does nothing) - Going to the oculus app > devices > quest 2 > device setup ...
Launch the Oculus app on your PC. [optional] Launch SteamVR. Put on your headset. You will step through the Oculus link setup. After that you can launch SteamVR from the Oculus menu and play Steam games that support VR! Interestingly, Oculus Quest 2 has it's own home location an interface, Oculus Link has a different but nicer Home, and Steam ...
I can tell you that each time you change the account (wich on the Quest 2 is only a click away) the whole Device resets itself and unchecks the developer mode. You have to recheck it every time you share your device. However: Once you do this, the device can no longer be found with the smartphone app, let alone the PC App. However: The PC App ...
SOLVED. I have a oculus quest 2 and was trying to play games through the link cable, but when I set up the app, it says my pc doesn't meet the minimum spec requirements, even though it does, i have a r7 3800x, and a 3060ti and 16 gb of ram. I've tried everything I could find on the support page and older strands, does anyone have any fixes.

TBH the Link (and Air Link) refresh, res slider, and ODT settings are all pretty hard to address in short forum post. So I will just try to briefly explain what I do with both Link and Air Link. First of all, in general I set my desktop app refresh to either 80 or 90Hz and position the res slider full right. This is full Q2 screen res equivalent.
Turn it off if so. Hi, my general recommendations would be to update your USB and GPU drivers, disable USB power saving for your USB 3.0/3.1 ports via Device Manager, disable USB Selective Suspend via the Power Options app in Windows 10, and if the following options are in the BIOS for your motherboard disable them: Legacy Mode, Turbo Mode, and ...
The oculus app seems to tank my performance by a serious amount, and I'd like a way to run link without using that app, or being able to close it after starting it. I run everything through SteamVR anyways, and all my games and apps are on there. I literally just use the oculus app as a portal to SteamVR.
