If you repeatedly close and reopen File Explorer, the memory usage goes up by 20 MB each time. You can restart the task in task manager to reset the RAM usage, but you shouldn't have to do this. There is 100% a memory leak in file explorer but Microsoft, being one of the most lazy and unprofessional companies on the planet, still hasn't noticed it.

Outlook (New) Version 1.2024.1002.100 (Production) is experiencing a Memory Leak. I just relaunched and it went back to normal for a short time, but it over time uses more and more RAM. Before I closed and relaunched it was using 4GB of RAM, which is absurd. Any one have any ideas as to a fix aside from waiting for an update from Microsoft.

The Intel drivers caused a memory leak for dwm.exe. I had to uninstall it and install an older version of the drivers from early 2020. Here to the comment on Reddit which helped me. It is an intel problem, I saw this issue happening from the latest version. I didn't upgrade my nvidia driver tho.
However over the past 2 days i have noticed something funky (Technical Term) going on with it's Memory usage. I leave my PC on for long periods of time since i run a plex server out of it. I was having a conversation with my work buddies about PC performance, and when I checked task manager my Memory was sitting at 33.7GB in use. I have 64GB total.
