In Adobe Reader DC there is an option under View to rotate all page in the PDF clockwise or counter clockwise. There is no way to save this change in Reader. Acrobat is different in that one can rotate individual pages using the page navigation panel and selecting the pages to process.
Whenever I open a certain pdf doc it is shown clockwise rotated by 90 deg. Ok I can de-rotate it by clicking the appropriate menu in Adobe Reader. But is there a way to save this pdf so that it is automatically shown correctly at next opening WITHOUT having to explicitely rotate it through AR menue...
There isn't a way to do arbitrary rotation for an entire page in an Acrobat product. But the only way I knew is: - In Acrobat use "Export to JPEG". - In Photoshop or Lightroom rotate the image (so easy, just press R and use the mouse) then save it. - Open the JPEG file with Adobe Acrobat Pro and save it as PDF.

Via optimize pdf there is already a hidden action to automatically turn the pages the right way round, but the entire pdf is also scanned and gets optimised. Unfortunately this takes a long time too.
