Hi I have the same question, and I don't have the test feature. Here's what worked for me: Go to your settings>more>device settings. Scroll down to microphone. Now here's where it gets interesting. Pic your microphone because it will have picked a mic for you which may not be yours. My mic is a logicam webcam. Now see if people can hear you.
