The Central Library building at 13th and Olive was built in 1912 on a location formerly occupied by the St. Louis Exposition and Music Hall and was designed by Cass Gilbert. The main library for the city's public library system has an oval central pavilion surrounded by four light courts.
According to a news release, “The library will not be responsible for items left outside the building” and it asks card holders not to place items in the book drop at Headquarters after Feb. 1.
St. Louis County residents can vote early at 14 locations through November 4, with mail-in ballots accepted until 7 p.m. on Election Day, and voters can check wait times online.
