The 1954 Syracuse Orangemen football team represented Syracuse University in the 1954 college football season. The Orangemen were led by sixth-year head coach Ben Schwartzwalder and played their home games at Archbold Stadium in Syracuse, New York. Syracuse finished the season with a 4–4 record and were not invited to a bowl game.
Founded in 1946 and originally known as the Syracuse Nationals, they are one of the oldest franchises in the NBA and one of only 8 out of 23 to survive the league's first decade. The team is owned and managed by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), with founders Josh Harris and David Blitzer acquiring the team in 2011.

Led by head coach Ben Schwartzwalder, the team won eight games. Despite their 8–2 record, they were not invited to a bowl game.
