County Road 480 runs through five roads in southern Citrus County. It runs east and west from the Chassahowitzka River in Chassahowitzka into Withlacoochee State Forest, to US 41 south of Floral City. The road was previously signed as SR 480. [1] Though another CR 480 exists in nearby Hernando County, Citrus CR 480 has no connection to that route.

Citrus County is a county located on the northwest central coast of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2020 census, the population was 153,843. [1] Its county seat is Inverness, [2] and its largest community is Homosassa Springs. Citrus County comprises the Homosassa Springs, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. [3]
