Chichester (/ ˈ tʃ ɪ tʃ ɪ s t ər / ⓘ CHITCH-ist-ər) [4] is a cathedral city and civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. [5] It is the only city in West Sussex and is its county town.
