Story Links CHARLOTTE – After an extensive review of the Charlotte football program by Director of Athletics Mike Hill, head football coach Biff Poggi has been relieved of his duties. A national search for the next leader of the 49ers will begin immediately. Associate head coach Tim Brewster will serve as the 49ers interim head coach for the remaining two games of the 2024 season.
