Mako is a template library written in Python. Mako is an embedded Python (i.e. Python Server Page) language, which refines the familiar ideas of componentized layout and inheritance. The Mako template is used by Reddit. [4] It is the default template language included with the Pylons [5] and Pyramid [6] web frameworks.
For writing, it allows replacing files or adding new ones; the data can come from buffers, files, or even other zip archives (without recompression). Extra field data and comments (both file and archive) can be added, modified, or deleted. All changes are finalized when closing the archive, so the on-disk archive is always self-consistent.
reStructuredText (RST, ReST, or reST) is a file format for textual data used primarily in the Python programming language community for technical documentation.. It is part of the Docutils project of the Python Doc-SIG (Documentation Special Interest Group), aimed at creating a set of tools for Python similar to Javadoc for Java or Plain Old Documentation (POD) for Perl.
Sphinx converts reStructuredText files into HTML websites and other formats including PDF, EPub, Texinfo and man. reStructuredText is extensible, and Sphinx exploits its extensible nature through a number of extensions – for autogenerating documentation from source code, writing mathematical notation or highlighting source code, etc.
Pertaining file extensions include:.docx – Word document.docm – Word macro-enabled document; same as docx, but may contain macros and scripts.dotx – Word template.dotm – Word macro-enabled template; same as dotx, but may contain macros and scripts; Other formats.pdf – PDF documents.wll – Word add-in.wwl – Word add-in
