Lufthansa refund/rebook. Jump to bottom. Posted by Anne (Wisconsin ) on 03/12/20 06:18 PM. Has anyone had experience rebooking or getting a refund from Lufthansa? My nonrefundable ticket only shows a refund of the taxes $124 on a $1400 ticket. If I wanted to rebook it shows a $300 rebooking fee. Can you only get a rebook with no fees by talking ...
Two days before departing, he offered about 50% of the first class round trip price and got it. This topic has been automatically closed due to a period of inactivity. I purchased a premium economy Lufthansa ticket on a long-haul flight. I now see that I can bid to upgrade to business class. I'm clueless about the best way to approach this.
5208 posts. I recall that when I had this situation, within the last 2 or 3 years but not more recently, I was able to reserve seats for the United operated legs at the time of booking, but I was unable to book the Lufthansa legs until 23 hours before departure. I was flying in Economy, with the prepaid baggage and seat selection.
The Lufthansa lounges are quite nice, especially since they opened up the Panorama Lounge. Lots of small, quiet rooms, makes the whole airport experience.... pleasant. With time and willing the spend the money to get into a lounge, it makes a 18 hours travel day bearable.
Immediately tried to get in touch with Lufthansa but didn’t expect success because 4 July was on Saturday. Tried to get in touch with Lufthansa on Monday starting at 7 AM PDST with no success. Tried 866-953-2254 and 800-645-3880. I got through to a Lufthansa customer service center at 800-645-3880 after a 30 minute wait on Tuesday, 7 July.
I just tried both the telephone numbers listed in the link, neither connects you with a human being at Lufthansa. +1-800-982-3835 NO, it's a 'home service hotline! or 1 (800) 645-3880, it's LH but only allows you to go down the social media hole, no one answers. Posted by Bill N OP.
I just bought a hardside suitcase that fits their carry on size restrictions, but I just realized that the personal item size I bought was a bit bigger than their dimensions. For reference their personal items are supposed to be 15” x 11” x 4 “. I bought the Lo and Sons Deluxe Catalina Tote which is 15” x 14” x 7”.
The aircraft is an Airbus 330-300. I do not want to have this limitation on Business class again. My question is which aircraft type operated by Lufthansa do have lie-flat beds. Just finding out which type of aircraft is being used for a flight is cumbersome. Not sure how you then find out whether the lie-flat beds are available.
Take the underground to the International terminal and you should be able to check-in to Lufthansa at the gate. Lufthansa will likely need to print out their own boarding pass after they verify your passport information. PS Lufthansa's carry-on weight limit is 8 kg (about 17.6 lbs) in addition to size restrictions.
Posted by Eric (Beaverton, Oregon, USA) on 05/18/09 12:43 PM. I understand that Lufthansa uses a three-prong headphone jack. Has anyone used their Bose noise-cancelling headphone on Lufthansa without an adapter. I have a two prong adapter but am not sure it will work. Some internet postings suggest they will.
