The discography of British-Irish girl group Girls Aloud consists of five studio albums, two compilation albums, twenty-four singles, one promotional single, two live albums, one remix album, two box sets, eleven video albums and twenty-five music videos. Girls Aloud was formed in 2002 on the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals.
Girls Aloud are a British-Irish [1] pop girl group that was created through the ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. The line up consisted of members Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.
The group was also named the United Kingdom's biggest selling girl group of the 21st century, with over 4.3 million singles sales and 4 million albums sold in the UK alone. [ 22 ] [ 23 ] Girls Aloud took a hiatus in 2009 in the pursuit of solo projects, saying they would reunite for a new studio album in 2010, [ 24 ] but this did not materialise.

The collection contained all of their music videos at the time of release, and was named after Duran Duran's song "Girls on Film" which was covered by Girls Aloud. The DVD included some of their most memorable television performances, and footage from their MTV special Girls Aloud - The Show that aired on MTV Hits on 30 October 2004.
